Recovery

When a child survives a severe burn injury, the journey is far from over. Healing continues long after the bandages come off. At Children’s Burn Foundation, our Full Recovery Program ensures that children receive the ongoing medical care they need to not only survive, but thrive.

This includes critical services such as reconstructive surgeries, laser treatments, custom pressure garments, and medical equipment, all at no cost to the families we serve. We also fund transportation to medical appointments and, when necessary, medical airlifts to specialized burn centers across the country.

CBF’s commitment lasts long beyond a child’s initial hospitalization. Many of our burn survivors return for treatment throughout their childhood and adolescence, often continuing through age 18. By addressing the physical aftermath of burn trauma with expert, compassionate care, we help restore mobility, reduce scarring, and support each child’s confidence and self-worth.

“You didn’t just save my son’s life, you gave him a future. CBF gave us strength when we had none left.”
– CBF Parent

Our work is powered by donor generosity. Every surgery and treatment we fund brings a child one step closer to wholeness. Help us make full recovery possible. Donate now to change a child’s future.
