Who can attend camp?
Camp Gung Ho is for child burn survivors and their siblings, ages 6 to 14. Teens, ages 15-18, can join as junior counselors. Participants are referred by burn centers in the Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and Ventura County areas, including Arrowhead, General Hospital, Grossman Burn Centers, Torrance Memorial, UC Irvine and Shriners Hospitals.

Tuesday, July 16:
Fun, Food and Pool Party! (At Capacity)
Campers board a chartered bus to a private residence in Calabasas. Snacks, drinks and lunch provided. Wear bathing suits, flip flops/pool shoes and comfortable clothing. Bring a towel and a change of clothing. Sunscreen applied throughout the day.
Drop-off and Pick-up: CBF office, 5000 Van Nuys Blvd, Suite 210, Sherman Oaks
Drop off: 8:30 AM; Pick up: 4:00 PM

Wednesday, July 24:
Arcade Games and Private Movie (At Capacity)
Campers board a chartered bus to Dave & Buster’s in Northridge to enjoy arcade games and more. Drinks and lunch provided. After, we will be chartered to Regency Theaters in Granada Hills to watch Despicable Me 4 in our own private theater. Camp Gung Ho T-shirts will be provided!

Saturday, August 3:
Family Beach Day - Burn Survivor & Immediate Family Only!
Join us for a family day at Malibu Makos Surf Club in Malibu. Fun day of surf lessons, games, and delicious food. 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Free Parking. Free surf lessons for children, ages 6-18, by Makos! Free lunch and snacks. CBF will NOT provide transportation. Join at your own risk. Parents MUST supervise their children at all times.
